Version 2:

Expanded Engagement

The Entry Quiz

The Entry Quiz is a short onboarding assessment that helps users understand where they currently stand across key political issues. In just a few minutes, it generates a starting Bias Report that frames their perspective going into the daily prompts.

That baseline becomes a useful reference point over time. As users engage with prompts and reflections, they can see how their thinking evolves — creating a clearer picture of their political development without overwhelming complexity.

Insight into your Bias

After the Entry Quiz, users receive an initial view of their political tendencies — not as a label, but as a directional insight. The screen highlights general lean patterns across a few core topics and introduces the idea that perspective is measurable and dynamic.

As users engage with daily prompts, that insight evolves. Each interaction subtly updates their bias profile, reflecting exposure, reflection, and response patterns over time. Rather than fixing identity in place, the system tracks movement — allowing users to see how their thinking develops with continued engagement.

Post-Engagement Reflection

After engaging with a daily prompt, users complete a short reflection. These questions are quick — designed to take less than 30 seconds — but intentional. They ask users to evaluate confidence, openness to the opposing view, and whether their position shifted.

Each response feeds back into the evolving bias profile. Rather than simply logging a choice, the app captures depth, certainty, and movement. Over time, this reflection layer becomes the engine that tracks growth — not just preference.

Weekly Summary & Streak

At the end of each week, users receive a concise summary of their engagement and movement. This includes their current streak, number of prompts completed, and a directional overview of how their responses trended across key topics.

The goal is reinforcement, not judgment. Users see consistency, exposure balance, and subtle shifts in perspective. The weekly summary transforms daily interaction into measurable progress — encouraging continued participation without overwhelming analytics.
